Is the input file for pvrx2.exe -import unique to NextPVR?

I have been having trouble with the vidimport utility. I tried contacting the author but so far no response. So I decided to try writing my own utility. Is the input file format for pvrx2.exe -import unique to NextPVR? Or is sort of an industry standard file (other than being XML)? Only need to know to decide how I will name the utility.

Its not an industry standard, it's just a format I made up to suit my own needs for NextPVR.exe (and pvrx2.exe before it).
