as sub has said, nothing has changed in the softpvr encoders that should prevent them from working. I think you've simply missed something, but I don't know what.

However, if you want to try an older version, just by editing the download link I found WinTV 2.8 and 2.7 are still avialable:

I suspect NVPR is not detecting the audio input pin because it's labeled "Analog Audioinput".

Between the space on the end of the capture filter name and the bad labeling on the audio pin, I can confidently say that this tuner driver sucks.

Sub, can you add something to the upcoming release to detect this misnamed input? Perhaps we can save kamran77's project yet (if he ever comes back... hasn't been on for a couple of days).

No, it's not that. It doesn't matter what the input pins are named on the capture filter. It'll find them automatically based on their media type.

haven't there been problems where the driver had something called the "pin medium" screwed up so you couldn't automatically detect the proper pins and would then fall back to detecting them by name?

That slight different - this particular connection doesn't require pin mediums. It actually tries to connect to all the input pins.
