I can see that when I go to advanced in the fastfind plugin, it seems to allow you to set gbpvr to record all shows called 'Sonic', or whatever.

But I cannot seem to get it to work - nothing shows up in the 'pending' section,

and when I have set it it does not record what I want it to

I have cdkschedule, fastfind, guide2J, and priorityrecordingssample 2 in my plugins folder.

Can someone advise me or point me to a manual?

Thanks a lot Smile

Update - figured out that in Xrecord in the schedule section, the shows that I have chosen to search for and record are stored. But they are not recording

Here is the xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<GBPVR d1p1:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\PriorityRecordings.xsd" xmlns:d1p1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<Configuration>
<MissingRecordingPriority>0</MissingRecordingPriority>
<Conflicts>Delete</Conflicts>
<DuplicatesAllowed>Yes</DuplicatesAllowed>
</Configuration>
<Recording priority="1">
<Channel>5</Channel>
<ProgramName>CSI: NY</ProgramName>
<Quality>Medium</Quality>
<CaptureSource>1</CaptureSource>
<LimitDays>
<DaysOfWeek>Tuesday</DaysOfWeek>
</LimitDays>
<ScheduleTime>
<Start time="22:00" />
<End time="23:00" />
</ScheduleTime>
<Padding>
<PrePadding>5</PrePadding>
<PostPadding>15</PostPadding>
</Padding>
</Recording>
<Recording priority="2">
<Channel>40</Channel>
<ProgramName>Doctor Who</ProgramName>
<Quality>Medium</Quality>
<Duplicates>
<Recorded>No</Recorded>
<Scheduled>No</Scheduled>
</Duplicates>
<Padding>
<PrePadding>5</PrePadding>
<PostPadding>15</PostPadding>
</Padding>
</Recording>
<Recording priority="3">
<Channel>2</Channel>
<ProgramName>Pig Heart Boy</ProgramName>
<Quality>Medium</Quality>
<CaptureSource>1</CaptureSource>
<LimitDays>
<DaysOfWeek>Monday</DaysOfWeek>
</LimitDays>
<ScheduleTime>
<Start time="09:30" />
<End time="10:00" />
</ScheduleTime>
<Padding>
<PrePadding>1</PrePadding>
<PostPadding>1</PostPadding>
</Padding>
</Recording>
</GBPVR>

Let's ne honest Piug Heart Boy was a test (!) but it did not record it.

HELP!

the way the cdk scheduler works is that it runs nightly. The advanced section in xrecord will populate the xml. The cdk if it is in postupdateepg.bat will populate it. Try running cdk scheduler. And post/check its log.

I see. I don't have a fil called cdk scheduler - but I do have PriorityRecording.exe.

That populates the 'pending' section with the recordings I want to make.

Is that the same thing?

Thanks for help

yup. priorityrecordings is the cdk scheduler. In xrecord if you hit stop you can run cdk at any time.
