FastFind utility for Music/Pictures/video

Hi, is there a similar utility that will do the same as FastFind for programs but for My Music, My Playlist, My Pictures, My Videos, etc.

Hi, maybe Fast Find can be upgraded to search for those files so it will be part of a single utility. Just a thought

you want to be able to search for files on the machine using fastfind? You pick a direcctory and recursively search it for a match?

It can be done. We would probably start off with an application that runs nightly that populates a database with all of the file names and paths. And then we can use sql calls to find the files that match certain criteria. It is faster than recursing through all of the directories each time.

Is recursively parsing a directory part of Fast Find, how do you do it? I am still new with GBPVR and the plugins and still don't know how to program or modify a plugin.

fast find just searches the gbpvr.mdb and gives you a list of shows and lets you record them.
