Used the new Instant Record feature for the first time yesterday - Hit the record button 15 mins after starting watching and whole lot recorded as expected - Very Nice feature thanks.
After watching from Recordings later, deleted the program and went to watch live TV - received the message - The Folder D:/Live TV Buffer Does not exist I had to grab the keyboard and quickly recreate it - but am still in trouble
It looks as though the recordings screen deletes the parent folder if it is empty after deleting the file.

As a work around I have put a [Lock File.txt] in the root of the Live TV folder which will hopefully stop the folder being deleted again.
I'll report back when I have had time to test.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

Yes that does it for now. (File set to read only if that makes a difference)

Confirmed. I guess we forgot to actually test that. If you have just one recording in the Live TV buffer directory, and you delete it, the whole live tv buffer directory does indeed go away. This is of course normal behavior for recordings - if you delete the last recording in a directory, NRecord is supposed to "tidy up". Now it needs to make an exception for live tv recordings.

I did test that and did not see anything like the reported error. Do you guys have "AutocreateFolders" set to true in config.xml?

Yes, I have autocreatefolders true. This wouldn't be a problem otherwise.

sub, this problem is still occuring. My NShared.dll is dated 11-28-13, 5:41pm, much newer than the NShared you posted here.

I realize you're away for awhile yet, but when you get back...

in the meantime, can anyone else test and see that this is still a problem? don't forget to remove any 'lock.txt' or equivalent file, the livetv directory has to be empty except for the file being deleted.
