Hi, I know, I know... it'll depend on your bandwidth!!

Let's assume that my nextPVR server box is connected via gigabit to a gigabit switch.... How many clients could practically demand to watch different channels (assuming tuners available to satisfy).... PC is nice and powerful... Quad Core 12GB RAM 3.2 processor - 64bit windows 7

Watched HD live TV over my wireless last night and there was no problem streaming that - very impressed - great program - thanks sub :-)

??
Thanks,
John

A DVB-T mux in the uk (carrying say 10 channels) is probably only about 30-40 Mbps of data.

A single SD channel is probably only 2 or 3 tops, rising to 8 or 9ish for HD (although it used to be much higher). I can't recall if NPVR streams the entire transport stream or just the selected channel tho.

It only streams the data for the selected channel.
