It sounds like NextPVR has lived up it's end of the bargain by running the correct command line, but for whatever reason your channel.exe blaster app hasn't successfully changed to the correct channel in this attempt.

I'm not sure I follow you. So it recorded fine, ran PostProcessing.bat correctly, and has status 2 in the database (Success). What is wrong?

Agreed, I'm going to move that channel to a 3 digit variation. Does the fact that a web client nextpve process is likely attached to NRecord but not connected to a connected client pre/post epg update a possible reason for those odd failures?

All those log errors and no post processing message concern me , because that looks the same as when I got the red message and a status 3 and no file even when the file is actually created.

I just watched hockey livetv for a while and noticed no hdpvr logs so I stopped and started again, with no problem on playback. It logs like the recording graph for touch clients is in web.log and not nrecord.log. Is that normal?

No, that's not normal, and certainly might explain a failed recording or two.

You want to check the beginning of the web.log, to see if you get "About to connect to remote recording service" or "Using local in-process recording service". Your web.log there didn't go back far enough, so you'll want to reproduce it.

Hmm, odd. Can you check <ForceRecordingServiceUse> in your config.xml?

If you set it to 'true' does it start behaving itself?

The setting was supposed to be disabled a long time ago, but some changes I made for Capture4ME/Cast4ME recently may have caused it to come active.
