Time Warner doing the channel shuffle AGAIN

For the 2nd time in less than 6 months, Time Warner is rearranging every. single. one. of our channels. Again. :mad:

Channel names are untouched, numbers will be different.

Last time, I figured it was a good time to just clean out and start over and enter re-occurring recordings as they were broadcast and the family had interest in watching them.

Is there anyway to edit the recurringbackup.xml after the change to re-import with the new channel numbers or is that just more trouble than it's worth?

FYI, when it recreates any recurring recordings imported from recurring-backup.xml, it does it based on channel name, not channel number.

Ah, I didn't know that. Recording has worked so well, I just didn't need to I guess! Thanks!
