this problem still exists.
I have tried the first and second patch, but i am not sure, if it was not already included. The files are of same size,exactly.
Then i tried installing the additional logging patches.

Can you run filtercheck.exe, and zip and attach the filtercheck.log it creates?

I believe that sub was thinking of Current Patch 1. Reddwarf reported the same problem two months ago (version 2.6.2): http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ice-needed Then in post #3 of this thread he said "it works very well." Maybe he found a solution. What version of Windows are you running? In future please zip and attach any logs.

My solution was to install a new motherboard in the computer, for some reason it didn't work with the old one anymore, possibly due to a bios upgrade that was needed to make a digital soundcard work. It may be an issue of timing in my case.

thanks for your feedback. This is very interessting: Reddwarf seemed to have exactly my problem.

First about logs: Sorry for that but at last i was not able to attach a file. Ok, i think i will get it next time.

For short my full story:
After installing the card and the first try to scan channels it failed with the same problem. Then (unfortunately i forgot what) i did anything.
Maybe i have deleted the dvb-t devices in the device config or i did a scan there first (dvb-t). In any way it started to work.
Also interesting: I did not actively install any driver from homepage or similar. it was windows which searched and found a driver automatically after first start after installing the card. I did not check which driver it installed, or i forgot it. And it was fine until...

Then i wanted to install a ci-modul. I did, and also downloaded now driver from the homepage. The ci-modul belongs to the card: Cine CT from digital devices. There is one exe containing all drivers for card and module. I found out, that npvr would not work with it. So i wanted to use the original software. As Reddwarf said, there is not application shipped with. Documentations all spoke of windows media center. So i activated it, just to test. Guess: Of course this did not work. WMC did not find the tuner. So i deactivated it. After it: My Problem. Until now. No way to solve it.
Yesterday i uninstalled the ci-module device. Still no work. I installed the patches. Still not work. I installed older drivers for the cine ct. And then: Scan worked again!!! I was glad first, but after trying to start a channel i recognized: It still not works. A scan runs, but does not find any channels. Then played around with config of digital devices config tool and restart. Now even the tuner device disappeared from the device manager in windows. Sorry, but i am desperate...

Windows 7 Professional x64 is my os, and yes, maybe there was any updated of windows or a driver. The driver of the card is from October 18th.
Maybe i had an older one previously. I will run the tool sub mentioned.

it is working again!!

There was one thing i did not try in this way: I uninstalled drivers for the device, restarted the system, installed the current drivers, restarted again, and it worked!!
I am fine now, and thanks again for your help and support.
