It happened yesterday and I thought it was me, so I did an update for logging and thought I'd try again after restoring.

It goes something like this:-

View a recording and exit before the finish to recordings menu.
move down to a recording I want to delete and press the square stop key (used for delete) and it deleted the recording I was part way through watching, not the one highlighted in the menu.

In my case today, I wanted to delete the file "Dolphins - Spy in the Pod" and it deleted "Burn after Reading".
The weblog shows the name of the recording deleted "Burn after Reading"

It would be reassuring if the confirm yes/no dialogue box had the recording name in it ??

web log attached (event is right at the end)

ill add the name to the confirmation box.

can you also check to see if its just via the "stop" button and not from the popup. the stop button was something new i added, and i admit i dont think i actually tested it (but its using the same object i use to open the dialog, $scope.selectedItem)

It should be the red button not stop anyway to keep it the same as NPVR Smile

i thought the red button in nextpvr set the red colour indicator? or is it the "Record" button you mean? i thought "Stop" made more sense, since to cancel a recording i would push "Stop".

i have to admit, i havent actually used nextpvr app all that much (I used gbpvr for years, but not nextpvr app)

"stop" sorts the order in npvr
sorry yeah the record button but since the red button has been used for record then i just said "red" button
I actaully have my main remote red button reassigned to record in nextpvr and dont use the red marker (still have the other 3 colours)

Right, it appears to be a problem just with the stop button used for delete.
I deleted the recording by using enter and then delete in the popup 'close, play delete find' and it worked as expected.

Two things to bear in mind.
(1) the recording that gets deleted in error is at the top of my list. I'm not sure if this is relevant or not.
(2) It needs to be played before trying to delete another recording.

update. Ignore the top of the list bit. When using the stop button to delete, it actually deletes the last recording played and seems to ignore where the highlight is in the list.
100% reproducible for me.

(p.s. I'm a bit of an npvr newbie as well, only just in the process of moving from gbpvr to npvr - and xp to w7 and hardware ;(

not as easy as I first thought, need to refactor a few things (the listview is reusable code, but ive discovered some issues with it so need to alter it).

currently working on this fix, will be in next release.
