Recording 2 shows on 1 tuner ? How is that possible ?

The problem is, npvr doesn't tell you anywhere that you can do this...

this capability is mentioned in several places on the web site, in the wiki, in my getting started guide.

What I mean is, there should be a astrix by channels that are capable of this feature.

then there'd be an asterisk by all digital channels

Right now, it is all trial & error...

In the channel list for the tuner (in Devices, not Channels), you can see which virtual channels are on the same physical channel and can thus record together. I recently noted them down and then created channel groups (in Settings->Channels) so I can remind myself which channels go together. Generally though you can just forget about it and let NPVR sort it out.

well, yeah, that's what produces this amusing thread... I'm not "lol"-ing at you, just at the fact of it all. it's a neat feature, and it used to be fairly unique to GB-PVR/NextPVR.
