NextPVR Add-on not working!!

I have previously had no problem installing and running the NextPVR add-in to XBMC about a year ago. However on 5 or 6 different recent installs on Windows and OpenElec the add-in is enabled but no menu item to run it and the PVR service is greyed out. What on earth am I doing wrong as other add-ons work!!!

I suspect you have an old version of the addon installed back when it needed to be manually installed, causing a conflict with the new versions that come pre-installed.

I have recently been looking at X-NEWA as a replacement for my Windows NextPVR client so not attempted to run the NextPVR add-on until a few days ago. I have just installed Windows XBMC 12.3 on my NextPVR client computer, enabled Live TV and the add-on is active! It must be forgotten to Enable Live TV!!!

Glad you solved it. I am interested in some suggestions on improving X-NEWA web client. For the next version both sub and UJB have been kind enough to make improvements so that web client works better, and I'd like some input and what I need to do better. Good and bad feedback (ie why it won't work for you) really help me.

Martin, several days ago I started writing comments on X-NEWA to post. I was going to use the title "I hate XBMC" but its the menu system I dislike compared to the simple NextPVR menu. I am trying to use X-NEWA on my NextPVR client computer as would like to get rid of the need for Windows on the client. So expect some constructive comments within the next day or so.
