When it comes to files not recorded by NextPVR , NextPVR just calls upon Windows to play it back so it's up to you. When it comes to ripping DVD's and BRD some just do copy raw to disk same compress files to death with all ranges of compression in between. For audio some want 7:2 lossless and some can live with 2 channel. It is one of those questions others can't answer.
