Theater Plugin "ziplist.txt"

Even though I've been doing this kind of stuff in DOS since before pretty Windows came along, for some reason I'm not getting the "ziplist.txt" option to download any information.

I have the following saved in ziplist.txt:

32095
32216
32256

It is definitely saved as a txt file.

I then edited the getlistings.bat file to run with ziplist.txt instead of a zipcode:

GetTheaterListings.exe ziplist.txt

This is what I get as a result when running it from a command prompt:

Page count 1
Saving to C:\Program Files\gbpvr\theater\theaters.xml
Image name 0

It works just fine if I replace ziplist.txt with one of those three zipcodes, so I know it does work. I figured I must just be missing something simple, but I couldn't find anything about searching the forums. Sorry if this is a repeat question and I just didn't search for the right thing.

I had to check the code. ziplist.txt is hard coded as the filename. Do this

gettheaterlisting file

do not replace the string file with ziplist.txt it will find it automaticallly.

Haha...that shows you the thinking of a batch/script writer (me)! When your instructions said "file", I assumed you meant substitute whatever zipcode list file you created! Thank you -- I would've never thought of literally doing what your instructions said! (and boy, do I feel kinda stupid saying that!)

As I said I had to check the code as well. I would have done the same thing as you. I now know why I did that so I can tell a zip from the file mode without having to check for a file every time.

Still kind of silly. I should update the help.
