img and iso movie files

I recently acquired a movie in the img format and NPVR won't play it although VLC will. Am I doing something wrong or is this format not supported by NPVR abd SAF6? Is there a workaround way to play these files in NPVR?

It only supports iso not img files.

Does NPVR now natively support iso files now? Do I still need to mount iso and video_ts folders?

.iso file support is the same as it always has been. ie, needs daemon tools
