Sorry the log you posted didn't how you retry after the exit, this one requested 1280x720 fine. I will need all your web.log files. You might need to ask you to turn off sub's addon it generates a lot of spam in web.log
Note that GPU monitor combo doesn't seem to support great resolution choice for HD

Thanks. I switched to Aeon Nox skin which allowed me to map a Live TV main menu item to X-NEWA which looks great. I still have this same issue, the only way to fix it is to kill the corresponding nextpvr executable on the server, but then it happens again. I will disable sub's addon (live tv is broken anyway, and I cannot watch in progress recordings) and go through the process gain and post the logs later today. As for resolution, I am fine with 720p on my mac. This also happens with my openelec which is attached to LG 1080p TV. I appreciate your help.
I disabled Live TV, and tried 3 times, and it happened on the 3rd time and it will stay there. I also experienced a crash when moving around the TV guide, I have seen this before, I had to force close XBMC at the end. I hope you find something helpful in the logs.

It looks like an issue for sub, when the new NextPVR session is started, it is failing and then defaults are used on the heartbeat
