I just picked up a BD-FM59C myself, and have the same exact issue as johnsonx42. I get the security lockdown, but can also install the Redirect NPVR app that was uploaded successfully. This must be a specific machine issue. I believe that I need the "fix" that was alluded to if possible...

It's not a fix it's more of a work around. I have sent you a PM with the details.

No ,sorry. I have no experience at all with Vizio.

For anybody else who picks up a Samsung BD-FM59C, Fred's work around is successful for me also.

As a side note, I really like the incremental skipping by hitting the left and right arrow keys. I have every tv in the house outfitted with Popcorn Hour A-100's, but this incremental skipping makes having both hooked up to my projector worth while. It's great for sports since I don't watch many events that I actually care about live anymore. This allows me to skip ahead up to 30 minutes, but if something had happened, skip back 10+ minutes if needed. Especially when watching a team I like give up 2 goals early, and not wanting to waste my life hoping for a comeback! (It makes me not the best fan, but my blood pressure is grateful!)

The skip thing for me is annoying as our adds are 4 minutes long , try and skip 4 minutes it's a pain in the butt

But you can do this with the default skipping in Nextpvr as well. Just press "3", "0" and "skip forward" and you skip 30 minutes forward. This works great, I really like the way sub has implemented skipping.

No way!!!! Cool, it works on the popcorn hour! Thank you! Funny, 18 months of running this program, and I'm still learning new things!

There must be 100's of things that have crept into npvr and the addons that I don't have the slightest inkling about and am missing out on. One of these days I'll have to try to find the release notes for all the updates and and see whats "new"

I've been trying the LG app on my 50lb5820. Pretty cool - I was quite surprised to see my nextPVR interface on the screen Smile

Only had a limited amount of time to test over the weekend, but the quick playing around LiveTV kicked over fine. I need to do some more testing, but found that I couldn't change channels in liveTV and I could not play recordings from a network drive. But the channel I picked in LiveTV was nice and smooth and played well.

Can't wait to see how the app progresses Smile
