If you are running nextpvr 2.4.3 as stated in your post that is the issue, this requires version 3.2.9.

Sorry, sig not updated, I am on 3.2.9.

I did managed to get something playing, after using the video library. Then the odd recording worked. Mot sure why some do and others don't. Possibly because they're accessed by nextpvr over the network.

I found playing with this app if the shows are on the nextpvr server they will play but if they are on my NAS they will not play, I'm still working on getting those to work that are in the video library as nextpvr has access to the NAS directly but it is not getting passed to this app. So I"m dealing with share issues as will since I cannot pass the login from this app to the NAS. I will figure it out as this is all around windows and cifs shares login issues.

I did see a post but not followed up on yet as fixing NAS Share issues with nextpvr videos on a NAS.

I was hoping to find the time last weekend but I didn't. This weekend isn't looking any better, sorry dj.

Since I don't own a Samsung TV myself this is not an easy fix for me.
But I got a chance to try 0.22.1 on my parents E-model Samsung the other day and I was surprised to see the volume buttons working and OSD showing?!
The mute button didn't work and it exited to analog TV as described.

The volume buttons are only supposed to work while playing a recording.
I'm interested to hear from any one if they get working volume buttons with 0.22.1 or not with their Samsung X-model TV.

Volume not working 0.221 2014 "h" tv(other than that and would like key number4 to skip 4 minutes it works really well on 2014 tv. A lot better than the 2013 bluray for skipping)

for kicks thought i would load up the touch3 you did for other players only shows background doesn't get any further

No it doesn't.
It's html5 and javascript where every supported device such as LG och Samsung has their own player API (and remote button mappings).

New version 0.22.2 for Samsung available via IP 76.76.102.42 or the Apploader.
The only fix is volume and mute buttons on Samsung TVs now working.


So I finally bought a Samsung TV, mainly for testing.
I got a small H-model triggered by stustunz testimony of great skipping with 2014 year models.
I was impressed to see skipping working great and about as good as my LGs.
