Can you provide support for the ATI Remote Wonder?

YES!
Look below for how I was able to get the ATI Remote Wonder to work with GB-PVR. I went to http://remotew.free.fr/plugins.htm#rwkey and followed the link to http://catsoft.wz.cz/sp/rwkeyfactory.php for instructions and went to here for the file: rwkeyfactory092.zip Most of my remote buttons worked for the GB-PVR UI before using this. I just went into RW key Factory and added Play, FF, Rew, FF Skip, Rew Skip, Pause and some other Hauppauge buttons. This plugin just sends keyboard shortcuts. (Thanks for having this Sub!!! You can find a list of shortcuts here: GB-PVR Shortcuts Let me know if you have any trouble. The ATI Remote Wonder works great when the PC is located in a different room, it is very responsive and quick! Mike

Awesome awesome, this works great now...... I just can't figure out how to do a couple things.....
1) I would like the stopwatch to toggle between F1 (tv guide) and ctrl-G (mini guide). 2) I would like some of the buttons to be a macro, hit home then F3 (videos), so I can go to my videos from anywhere. The documentation is sparse on how to do this, and I haven't had any luck trudging through it on my own. Any advice? Thanks!!

Summary: ATI Remote Wonder Plus is great hardware, but has a lot of irksome problems working with GBPVR.
Elaboration: The bad thing about the "RW Key Factory" plugin is that it can't set some of the most useful buttons on the ATI Remote Wonder Plus (for example the FM/TV1/Guide/TV2/DVD buttons just below the power button), and can't launch applications easily (it can only send keyboard shortcuts). Sure, you can override the ATI Remote Wonder base application with RW Key Master, but then you can't use any of the buttons to launch applications. And it can only interact with whatever application has focus...sure you can set a button to "Alt-Tab" or use the remote's mouse emulation to switch focus, but that sort of sucks sometimes. A truly ideal solution would allow you to set each button to send a keyboard shortcut to a specific application (or optionally to whatever application is in focus) or launch an application or bring an existing instance into focus. Functionality based on context would also be welcome.

mcragoe, you wouldn't happen to have the .rwc you used for your setup?
Thanks, Greg

I use a Remote Wonder with my GBPVR, and I can use all the buttons on it, thanks to Girder (shareware, but worth every penny).

I have an ATI TV Wonder Plus. I have read everything here.I was able to use it as a mouse using RWKeyMaster. However, I have not found the way to get the channel change and other important buttons to operate with GBPVR. I would really appreciate some guidance in getting this to work. Is there a way to add the definition to config in GBPVR?

I don't know if it'll work for the RW+ (I think it should), but I use HIP for the RW 2. Last year, I got the developer for HIP to open up all the keys for the RW 2. I have full control of all the buttons including the ATI, DVD, TV, stop watch, i, checkmark and power button.
Since ATI opened it up, my RW2 has been the best!! It's been better - I used to be able to wake the machine from hibernate, but that's a story for another day. Good luck. Jam.z
E6400, 2 GB RAM ,500 GB + 250 GB HD, PVR150+ Adaptec 3610, RW 2 + HIP, Antec 2480 w/ mini ninja ...still using v 0.99
