Okay I installed Windows 10 knowing I'd lose Media Centre but knowing I could run other apps and I chose NextPVR ..... Smile

It installed and configured fine but I don't get any video feed showing (audio) is fine. I'm assuming the issue is with the Video Renderer (EVR and all options tried), but could it be that it needs MPEG2 video (as that is showing as disabled).

Any assistance very much appreciated.

It's probably not the renderer Microsoft may have locked the decoders like they do with AC3, or hopefully just enough changes that sub has to figure out how to get DirectShow working with Microsoft decoders.

Off topic, do you know if they'll even offer Media Center in W10? I think they want it dead.

Agreed, but I'm hoping that they might retain it once W10 is out commercially.

You are a brave soul using Windows 10 is all I have to say, I will not buy a system today with window 8 on it love window 7 too much. Microsoft wants too much control for end users and sense nextpvr is such a great app is the only reason I run windows at all. If was not for nextpvr I would be on Linux running MythTV.

I've got NPVR working pretty well in 2 W8 systems. But, there really is no reason to leave W7 since W8 doesn't really do much.
But, it boots so fast I'm still amazed each time I see how fast it boots up.
Haven't fooled with 10 yet. I think they're trying to hard to beat Apple or BE Apple.

Love Win 8 myself including the 'modern' UI. Taking a bit of time to get used to the hybrid start screen on Win 10. Prefer both over Win 7 which is so 'old hat' and slow IMHO.

Installed NextPVR 3.2.9 on Windows 10 32-bit and everything that I use seems to work without a problem, including watching and recording TV, as well as playing back recorded video.

The W10 system has the same decoders as my Windows 7 64-bit system, which include the decoders from my Hauppauge HVR-1850 installation. However, I now use the HDHomerun HDHR4-2US tuner for TV.

My decoders are shown in the attached screen print.
