Schedules Direct with MC2XML

I use MC2XML to download my lineups from Schedules Direct, then enhance with Ultraxmltv. I know it's old, but it has worked for me and I like the enhancements.

Probably related to the SD changes in progress, MC2XML has failed to login to SD, starting several days ago, with invalid user name or password.

Any help out there?

I also am having problems downloading from Schedules Direct using the built in NEXPVR epg updater. I tried clearing the EPG and updating now have no epg data.

This redirect not working.

Don't use the re-direct right now then, they might be doing maintenance on the SD-DD service. afaik the normal TMS servers are working normally, nothing is supposed to change until Nov 1st.

It appears it was a SchedulesDirect problem was getting Invalid User or Password ... kept trying... Now it is working downloading Listings.

ok, I responded a little quickly, the SD-DD service has gone live. The regular TMS "A" records now point a lot of the traffic to the new SD-DD server instead. I personally tested NextPVR with SD-DD and found it to work, perhaps something broke.

As to why MC2XML doesn't work, the answer is probably this:

I downloaded the latest MC2XML v1.2 and it is working again for me. I don't know which version I had previously, but it was from 2012.

I just ran this utility from SD http://forums.schedulesdirect.org/viewto...t=20#p7901 and it created an xmltv.xml file from SD

the MC2XML situation is too long to explain, but the short version is for now it will work about 50% of the time, and after November 1st it may not work at all unless it's updated, OR it may work fine. Can't tell at this stage.

As Martin points out, the recommended XML grabber for Schedules Direct is XMLTV.

Was getting the error again today, and found a new version of MC2XML available that works.

v1.3: minor SchedulesDirect changes
new url + chan Ids
