Updated Kodi addon + plus patch

When I try to Install the Addon I get a message that addon has incorrect structure. Using latest kodi Beta.

I was using beta 1. I see you're using beta 2. I'll update to beta 2 and check.

I just tried the updated addon with beta 2, and it worked fine. It didn't give me any errors. I was able to watch live tv, and a radio, and see the new major.minor number stuff working.

When did it show you that error message, and what exactly did it say? I couldn't see it in the log you posted.

I tried it again ... on a clean Install of kodi got the same error I get the error message on the right lower corner of Kodi when Installing from zip.

Sub didn't post an addon, you need to extract the zip follow UAC and replace the dll that Kodi installs. It's a real pain during the alpha/beta/rc cycle especially when they bump the online version until sub's create the pull request and it finally gets added.

Margro's fix will help the channel changing problem for some people for sure.

I submitted the PR earlier today, so hopefully.

XBMC/Kodi has a pretty crappy build cycle from a PVR addon perspective. There is only a small window each year, where they have made and included changes to the underlying XBMC/Kodi PVR layer, giving PVR developers are chance to test and make feature changes.

I just rechecked dvb radio here, and it's preforming pretty well for me. It does take 7 to start the first radio channel (of which about 4 seconds is hooking up and starting the device), and subsequent radio channel changes take a consistent 3 seconds.

I'm using 14.0-BETA1 (November 3rd).

I'm using beta 2.
Now will check beta 3 and different tuners.

Great Job as usual sub. Only the Epg fanart missing ;-)
Fanart on recordings works on my main machine with Gotham. But only series recordings as it looks like, no movies yet. (ok, have not tried to much). It will not work on any Kodi beta version when connecting over the network, is this not implemented yet?

Support for EPG artwork is included, but I haven't seen XBMC ever try to use it.

Martin also couldn't find any code in XBMC that attempts to use this.

I'm not sure follow you. There is nothing machine specific. As long you're managing to talk to a NextPVR server (to get recording lists etc), then it should be able to get artwork if it's available.
