Issues with Kodi (beta4) and NPVR

I seem to be having a lot more issues on Kodi than I did on Gotham. If I have 'Enable Timeshift with LiveTv' enabled in the add-on then I appear to get random Kodi reboots while watching live-tv from NPVR (either from the HDTC-2US or the HD-Prime). If I disable the Timeshift then I cannot even start live tv (log attached).

To get me started, any ideas why I cannot disable timeshift and still get a stream? When its disabled I get the dreaded "Tuner no longer available" message.

You need to send the NextPVR logs and full kobi.log

I'll accumulate a full set of logs to upload. Kodi is running under Openelec, so not windows. I assume the updated add-on would not help?

Is that a cubox-i? It can't play 1080i with deinterlacing does it help if interlacing is turned off? The "dreaded" tuner not available message is really just a generic message for any error.

Personally I've never had good luck with OE and my cubox-i but I will be trying it this weekend. OE beta4 is not Kodi beta4 though.

Yes its a cubox-i4. Its worked very well running Gotham.

I'll try turning off de-interlacing. Would that make it work with Timeshifting enabled but not with it disabled?

The imx6 work in Gotham is really different then the rebaslined integrated code in Kodi I wouldn't say it's better yet and sadly today I read earlier today that it already too late to get more imx6 improvement in Helix 1.0 so I will likely be sticking with Geexbox. I use my cubox-i2 all the time but I use x-newa, maybe I will build sub's plugin imx6 to see how it works with OE I don't watch much 1080i do I can't help there either.

I'll give the de-interlacing a try. In the meantime I'll see if sub noticed anything in the logs!

I can't see anything obvious in the logs. From the NextPVR side of things, everything seems ok.
