So on my TV only the Player isn't working. The UI works fine. is there a way to get logs from the TV?

It's not clear to me which model TVs you can watch in-progress recordings on? And can you skip/jump ahead/back a few seconds at a time (like when watching on the PC) in both normal and in-progress recordings? Thanks.

I need help from the community on this one. I'm no expert on Samsung since my daily use is with a LG TV and I sort of only use the Samsungs for testing. I do own an F-model BD-player that is not very good at either skipping nor in-recording playbacks. My low end H-model TV does a decent job at skipping in recorded files and can also play in-progress recording but with limitations in skipping. My app can be configured to skip 10 secs as a minimum on each FF/RW keypress. Minute skipping by numeric keys is supported. There is also a progressive incremental seek (my personal favorite) /Fred

Hi Fred, still not working i'm afraid.
I've attached a trace from web.log, tracing from when the app loads on the TV. Once loaded/running, I left click to 'Exit' and click OK. The app menu clears but the background still shows, along with a ? help symbol on the top left hand corner. After 20-30 secs, the menu appears again. Any ideas?

I've just got Reven's app working - does your app use the same NPVR subsystem api's as Reven's app?

Some api's may be the same but my app is all about sending keycodes and displaying an UI image generated on the server. Reven's app is a full html5 app where what you see on screen is built using html, css and javascript. My app is a cousin to mvallevands X-newa web client. Your errors are occurring server side and I'm sorry to say that I have no idea what's wrong. My suggestion is to set up x-newa web client and see if the it behaves the same. /Fred |
