Resume not functioning in video library

Hello,

Resume of playback is not functioning for me; near as I can figure, this began after I upgraded to the latest version months ago. (Mrs. weisguy only now notified me of the issue).

... is checked. Don't know what else to check and searched like crazy for someone having the same issue; apologies if I have overlooked a thread and any assistance is appreciated. In the attached logs the last thing I did was play a video, stop, and restart.

If you go to the Settings -> Misc2 screen, and uncheck the 'show new metadata screens in video library', does the problem go away?
