database locked

Will leave here rather than deleting, in case helps someone doing a search in the future.

The following did the trick - I found the suggestion in a post from johnsonx42

administrator command prompt
sc delete "NPVR Recording Service"
re-install


Now it works fine!!!

Anyone got a solution for this one:

Can't do anything on npvr anymore... stopped working.. uninstalled, reinstalled.
Now when I look in the logs it says this when going into the devices tab to rescan... is there a way to unlock said database?!?!?!!?
