Hopefully someone could help me,

Occasionally I'd like to be able to route the audio output through my pvr350 rather than my soundcard is this possible ?

And If so how can it be done ?

Basically I'd like to be able to send music to another room whilst my children use the PC themselves

I normally use an MVP but thats in the same room as the PC

I tried changing the playback decoder to be the pvr350 rather than software but that still seemed to be sending the audio out via the soundcard.

any help/suggestions gratefully received

If you're using the PVR350's TV out, then audio from MPEG2 files will be played through the audio out connector on the PVR350. The PVR350 cant play any other types of audio (MP3's etc), so these are played through the sound card.

In that case is it possible to select a different soundcard for the audio output from the system default ?

I dont know, I've only got one sound card. I'd guess you can. You'll probably be able to select a specific the sound card in the 'audio renderer' setting.
