What it is worth I've had good luck with my Samsung 40" H5500 on a wired network, wireless works as it has both 2.4 and 5Ghz but 2.4Ghz wireless buffers to much for my liking much better using 5Ghz with HD Movies and recordings.
Only issue I've had been if the recording has no timeline (this issue is not a Samsung issues just recordings sometimes get a hosed up timeline) , example it starts with 0000 and ends with 0000 it will not play so I use a re-mux app to fixed this takes about 2 minutes to fix the timeline using this app, I save it back as a .TS file have not tried saving it with anything else as I'm only fixing my ts file anyway.
I used this app - support info below, you can download it from here- http://www.videohelp.com/tools/tsMuxeR/version-history
