Hi,

I have problems with daily recording using advanced rules.
The pending recordings created will be different for each day.

time(start_time,'localtime') > time('20:30:00') AND time(start_time,'localtime') < time('23:00:00')

I get the same result with weekly recording(monday weekly, tue weekly, wed weekly and so on) using advanced rules with same timing from 20:30:00 to 23:00:00.
The pending recordings created will always be different each day.

Any idea what is causing this?

Thanks for helping.

Daily recording with this advanced rules

title LIKE '%news%'

can get the correct time every night.

But I hope I can find the correct way to record daily within a time range, without having to setup individual recordings with EPG or manual.

I think the log item I need to see requires extended logging turned on in Settings General

<ExtendedLogging>true</ExtendedLogging>

Do you have access to a sql tool to run that query

select * from EPG_EVENT where channel_oid = 7148 and time(start_time,'localtime') > time('20:30:00') AND time(start_time,'localtime') < time('23:00:00') order by start_time

I think I know how to get the correct timing now.

Update EPG for first use if no EPG data available in the EPG.

Create my daily recording with advanced rules.
But this will create pending recordings with all the wrong timing.

Update EPG again.
This will reproduce all the pending recordings with the correct timing.

I think I have solved my problems now.

Thanks Martin for helping.

That is kind of what I suggested in the other thread, let NRecord create them for you during the epg update. It will delete update and reschedule
