Recorded shows no longer refreshing when selecting "Recordings" in Kodi.

Martin, thanks so much for this. Works great. Are the updates timed (how often) or triggered (what are the triggers)?

Both timed and triggered similar to pvr.wmc. The new trigger is after playing a recording, the timer was added when the addon checks to see if the server is up (not sure how often this is done). If it has been more than two minutes since the last recording refresh the list is updated. The pvr.wmc server is able to tell the client that the refresh is necessary, this change is brute force.

No idea, as I wrote I did this simply as proof of concept. There is not such thing as an OE version, sub builds his change to github and the various builds are created from the repository after opdenkamp approves it (which is not as likely as it sounds).

Here's the win32 build of that addon that shows the more dynamic updates someone requested Note there is a bug in the NextPVR http API on in-progress recordings, the subtitle is not passed until recording is done.

Hi Martin. I upgraded to Kodi 4.1 and just realized that the dynamic updates aren't happening any longer. Am I safe to install this built with Kodi 4.1 or does it need to be updated? Thanks.

Upgrading to 14.1 will override my dll if that is what you are asking. I can't remember if they changed the API or not, my upload still might work. Sub made a server side changes that are in the next NextPVR that will work nicely with changes in 14.1 in anticipation of this server and that is the version I have here and it is not as hacky as that test.

I notice the addon version included in Kodi is 1.9.21 yet the version on Github is 1.10.3.

Sorry, no there hasn't.

They changed the build/release process a couple of months back, and I'm having issues getting built.
