Wrong AC3 Audio Stream Again

Thanks Sub, I know you have a lot going on.

Here are two screen captures of a live and recorded show which show the reversal. This seems to be the only channel that is doing this. And, some times they broadcast English on the Spanish channel!

Yes, that was the arrangement of audio streams when I played the chunks from post #6 earlier this month. I'm still curious whether or not language preferences are functional in 3.3.8 so here's bump #2.

I have fixed this for the next release.

You could try this patch. Definitely backup your original file first though, in case you need to go back. It's possible this isn't compatible with rest of the release you're using.

I have the file, but can't try it until tomorrow. Wife's favorites are on tonight, too risky if you know what I mean.

Sub, thank you you for all your help. This will go a long way to improving my WAF. I tried the new file today and it works correctly. I don't see any conflicts in the main program. I'll continue to test tonight when some more of the problem shows are on.

Zeb and Reddwarf: My system is running 3.8 with all 6 patches. I experimented with the language settings in the config file and confirmed that they are functional. Only the 3 letter code is recognized, "en" is ignored. It doesn't make any difference if default2 is set to "eng" or "default". I tested the same videos in VLC and found that it also has the audio tracks reversed. I think this confirms that the problem is due to way the video is broadcast.

I found that some other channels in my area don't have a language ID, at all. The audio stream just shows (AC3) for both tracks. The audio defaults to track 1 which happens to be English and works for me, right now. Don't know if this will be another complication in the future. Mpeg was so simple.

Please, let me know if you need any more testing, samples, etc.
