First things first - this is an amazing peice of software - even more amazing is the price!

My setup is as follows:

PVR 350
AMD Athlon 1GHZ
ASUS V9180 video card
256MB RAM

The problem:

I tried using the TV out on the PVR 350 but got the system crashes (not a GB-PVR problem) so decided to use the TV out on the video card which is fine for playing back recorded shows but stutters/jitters when watching Live TV.

Any ideas/solutions? - do i need more ram? or is it a disk access issue? (I have gb-pvr installed on C:, video files are stored on d:...)

TIA

If you pause it for a few seconds, and press play again, does the stuttering go away? I wonder if the playback position of the file is bumping into the recording position. You should should be able to tell by putting a brief pause in.

Try a different MPEG2 decoder. The decoders are responsible for playback of the files, so the one your system is currently using must need more resources or something similar...
