No problem I know the feeling ... maybe in a future release Sub could add a check to do the update only if nothing is recording. I created a batch-file for now and disabled the auto update because in my household people watch livetv all hours of the night. My batchfile runs after midnight and will not update if something is recording it will continue to check every five minutes or anytime I want ... until nothing is recording and will update the epg. Once epg is updated it will exit.

I just bumped up against this problem with a short recording due to a EPG update and a search brought me here. Granted, it was a unusual time for a recording, but disappointing never the less.
