Season Episode data more accessible

Personally, when looking at available recordings list, I like to see the listings in this format: "Elementary: 3.12 Sherlock solves a mystery" so I can see if I have missed any episodes and make sure I can watch episodes in order. Consequently, I wrote a utility to do just that. Unfortunately, season/episode data is only available in the epgevent table and disappears once the show has passed its air date.

Could you copy the season/episode data to the xml data in the scheduled recording table?

It puts the season and episode numbers in the subtitle field. It works for me.

I should have mentioned that I am using Schedules Direct and it now supplies season and episode data.

When you double click on a episode, it shows the season and episode data. Where is that coming from? TVDB.com or am I missing something in the database?

I just wanted to revisit this before another version comes out. For many of the recordings, the season/episode data is truncated or missing for lack of room. I wrote a utility to add them to the front end and, to conserve space, I use a minimalist format. ie instead of s02e04, I simply use "2.4".

For me, missing episodes crop up several times a year and having this clearly visible in the list makes it so much easier to see where I am missing an episode.

So, if you are really ambitious, you could offer multiple formats for the season episode data and allow us to select whether is goes at the beginning or end of the subtitle.
Or, if it's not too much trouble, could I have a check box to turn it off entirely so I don't have it at the beginning and the end?
