Recordings flat folder structure

Is there a way to have all the recordings in one folder instead of making one folder for each program that is recorded? Really like the setup with one folder for each program, but Kodi wont show the recording thumbnail for the folder (only for the recorded program) and that is annoying.

Changing config.xml <AutoCreateFolders>true</AutoCreateFolders> to false puts all recordings in the same directory.

Worked as far as the folder structure in windows but it still shows in a folder structure in Kodi.
