UK users: are there commercial free channels? In the United States, "PBS" (Public Broadcast Station) affiliates do not have commercials, so the station data includes a "isCommercialFree":TRUE value. This can be used so that a client doesn't waste CPU cycles looking for commercials if there aren't any.

Are there stations in the UK which are commercial free?

Including CBeebies and CBBC. I think all the others start with "BBC" in their name.

All UK TV/tuner owners are required to pay a mandatory annual license fee of £145 to fund the BBC as a commercial free public service broadcaster. Most people I know are very happy to pay it.
The BBC are free to sell the content they create outside of the UK to generate significant extra revenue (Top Gear generated about £50M /year)

Are the channel numbers that are in the dump file the raw logical channel numbers that are coming from the satellite, or a local remapping?

Hi Sub,
Don't know if you are still after these or not, but in the attached zip file there should be an xml for my UK Freeview and an xml for my UK FreeSAT

Keep up the great work :-)

Hi, sub and I are working together on this (I'm with Schedules Direct). Can you please PM me your postal code so that I can make sure that the scan is associated with the proper lineup?

I've PMed you - although nothing is showing in my sent box... perhaps it takes a while to update.... let me know if you don't get the postcode message and I'll send again :-)

Hello, I've been trying to clear the backlog of messages. If you're keen on using the JSON data, please send me an email at rkulagow@gmail.com and let me know if you tried to set it up and your lineup wasn't available or was otherwise incorrect.

If you are using the JSON service and the mapping information wasn't included then please let me know so that I can update it.

Thanks.
