I am getting very large writer-n.txt filling up my boot drive in C:/temp. They seem to have started appearing since I updated to NPVR 3.4.8. Any ideas why these are appearing? Logs attached.

what does it say in writer-n.txt?

It shouldn't be the default, did you turn this debug feature on in the registry

As mentioned above, it shouldn't creating these files by default. You'll usually need to turn them on. What registry settings do you have in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR (or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR on 64bit windows installs).

chuck_2330, looking back though your posts, I note this one from 2011

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...28again%29

Sub said: "Create a c:\temp directory, and set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogTSWriter=1 in the registry, then reboot and try recording the channel in question, then zip and post the c:\temp\writer-xxx.log and your npvr.log/nrecord.log files. "

Thanks guys, no longer logging. Wonder why it wasn't a problem since 2011?

Oops, spoke too soon. I changed HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogTSWriter=0 and rebooted, but the writer-n.txt files are still appearing. Any other ideas?
