NextPVR also runs ndigitalhost processess (one for each tuner) in addition to the processes listed in the page above.

You might want to delete the registry entries as well as the exe and data files and folders before attempting to re-install.

NextPVR runs okay from the D: drive on other folk's computers and it is not likely that your difficulties are anything to do with NextPVR. I suspect a glitch in the matrix ... delete everything and try again.

Why can't you delete those files? NextPVR isn't setting any permissions. If you can't delete something, like .exe/.dll files, then it makes me thing you've got the application running? This would certainly give errors like above, where it couldn't write to files.

After a restart I was able to manually delete them, so I tried installing again, and now it crashes here:

Odd. After this failed install, do you get the same error if you run "nextpvr.exe -upgrade" or even just run nextpvr.exe by itself?

Yep, similar error with all of the other nextPVR exe's also.

To be honest, I don't know. I've not seen another user with those errors. Maybe something is broken with the .NET install on your machine.

OK, well thanks. That was my only other idea also... maybe I'll try reinstalling .NET sometime soon.
