TV Guide not populating

Now that I got Live TV working, I can move onto the next item. The TV guide is not populating with content. I have the channels, but I get "No Show Details" in the body. I did a little research previously, and learned that I had to purchase a schedule from "Schedules Direct". I'm currently using the seven day trial period.

I updated the EPG in the Channels setting to use Schedules Direct on all three tuners. Am I missing something else in the settings?

HMMM.....Never mind.

I stop/started services, and then updated the EPG. This time, it took several minutes to update, where as previously, it only took a couple of seconds.

The channel guide is fully populated now.

So my EPG is not updating. I have it set up to auto update each night but it will not do it. I was manually updating the EPG but then I went out of town and now it won't update at all. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. The npvr.log file is attached.

You forgot to zip and attach the log.

The overnight update will be in nrecord.log

Microsoft has switched their EPG data provider from Zap2It to Rovi, and frankly it looks like the legacy service for Vista that mc2xml relied on has ended: http://www.thegreenbutton.tv/forums/view...5bb1d5421c.
Your best option is Schedules Direct.

It does look like it updated your TV Guide last night, pulling in several thousand listings from c:\mc2xml\tvguide.xml. Does that file have current listings in it?

The EPG only shows "No Show Details" for each channel. On top of that live TV shows only a blank screen now. I can still get EPG and watch LiveTV in HDHomeRun View but NextPVR seems to have an issue connecting now.

Does your c:\mc2xml\tvguide.xml have current listings in it, or only old listings from the past? ie, NextPVR isn't responsible for creating/updating tvguide.xml. That's something you need to make sure is being done.

On top of that live TV shows only a blank screen now.

You'll need to reproduce the issue, then zip and attach the logs so I can see.
