I will upload a new release that might fix this problem later tonight or tomorrow. I think the problem is/was that sometimes weather.msn.com does not prvoide data for all fields, and I was expecting it to. In particular, sometimes it did not list high and low temperatures. This is also why you were not seeing the animated maps. If there was an error parsing the forecast I skipped loading the maps. If this come up again, can you go to weather.msn.com and take a screen shot of the forecast for the area you were looking at. This will let me see what was on the web page and figure out why the parsing was not working.

Hey Jeff

Right now I can view the "Current" page and it will display the details for Winnipeg but it seems to be now displaying mph & fahrenheit and I double checked as I do have it set for SI units. Same thing when viewing Hamburg right now.

I can view the map for Hamburg but not Winnipeg -object not set.. blah blah Smile
The details page will show for Hamburg but no actual data on the screen just empty fields - same for Winnipeg.

Forcast for both Winnipeg and Hamburg generate the object not set error

Here is a screenshot of the msnbc weather page for Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

I will also post one for Hamburg in a minute or so Wink

Screenshots for Hamburg and Winnipeg.... Seems I didn't notice the size limitations the first time so here are all the screenshots all nicely zipped up for you Smile

If you look at the bottom of these in the detailed forecast area they only list a Lo temperature for the current day rather than a Hi and Lo. I used to always look for both. In the update it will accept a case where one or both is missing. When I post the update later you should see these go away (of course there could be a next layer of things waiting to be discovered :-)

Jeff,
Current works fine. When I go to details it is blank, when I go to maps the current temperatures come up and precipiatation works but when I go to
Both of my systems are crashing when I go to metro doppler I get the "error object reference..." error message.

here is the error log in case it helps you determine what the problem is.

Can you add more map views? Like the 600mi radar, motion and static? I love the multiple map buttons, but miss seeing the big picture of weather approaching.

You've grown this plugin nicely. We all apprecite what you put into it. The only complaints anyone can have is about the weather itself Wink

What I did was added cities south and west of where I live. Then I get zoomed in shots of the areas just off my cities map. All it takes is <Right Arrow> on the remote, and there is the rain coming up through West Virginia.....

New update posted to the wiki site.

* Added support for a few more weather types (e.g., "mostly clear", which displays the same image as "clear")
* Added support for extended characters
* Area codes are no longer sorted. That is, they are stored in the same order as input.
* Fixed some bugs that would cause the forecast to not be read properly if MSNBC did not contain both forecasted Ho and Lo temperatures
