Newbie (kind of) - no show details

Hi everyone,

I have been using npvr for awhile now and I recently changed to zap2it for EPG data. It worked for a few weeks, then just the other day, I was getting no show details. This has happened in the past, but I have been able to piece together a solution from reading the forums. However, it seems as though things should be working. I tried to manually update the EPG to no avail. I am stumped. Thanks Chad

It looks like it has successfully read the listings from your C:\zap2xml\TVGUIDE.xml, and it found lots of listings. My guess is you've only gold old listings in that file, so you're not seeing any listings for today. Are you sure you're regularly running zap2xml.exe, or whatever utility is responsible for updating your C:\zap2xml\TVGUIDE.xml file?

Yeah. It has been working fine for several weeks. It updates regularly - can't remember exactly when right off the bat. Was scheduled to record a show on Friday and never did. That's how I figured out it wasn't working.

Here you go... It kept saying invalid file, so I just copied it to a text file. Thanks

Yep, that was the case - no current listings in the file. They're all old listings. ie, NextPVR is fine, but the xmltv file you're trying to feed it doesn't have any current listings...leading to 'no show details' in the guide.

So... double check on however you're running zap2xml, and if it's generating any errors.
