In Progress Recordings

I just ran into this issue on kodi 14.2.
Are there any work arounds or plans to address this?
It's super annoying when you watch a recording in progress and it dies after it reaches the length of the recording when you started watching it.

Any solutions yet? NextPvr is pretty much the only addon for kodi that has this issue now

It will be a problem for any http for streaming until it is enhanced in Kodo.

Most other pvr plugins now support streaming via a share such as smb rather than http

Many do, and eariler in the thread I explained that x-newa addon does. pkscout wrote a skin that will replace the PVR Addon's recording with x-newa if you are inclined to tinker.

Thanks, I'd prefer it included in the main pvr addon as I like to use other skins. I appreciate the work though
