Occasionally when watching a recording from a client, over a wireless connection, the picture will freeze, then the screen goes black and the "Recording watched to completion. Delete?" message pops up on screen. I can restart the recording from the beginning and jump back to the same place and watch the rest of the show. I do use ComSkip, but for some reason NPVR jumps to the end and thinks I watched the whole show, even though it didn't really finish. I'm pretty certain that the primary cause is that I'm losing the wireless signal for a moment. Is there something I can set so that the server will know that the show didn't really end? I've attached both the client and server logs and you can see the file stop at 16:02.

Your best short term bet is disabling the prompt to delete at the end of playback. This can be controlled on the Settings->Misc2 screen.

Ah, OK. Thanks sub. It would be nice if the Resume function would work after the stream gets broken, but that option disappears once the server thinks the whole file was already played.

It's not really just broken stream, the resume logic prompt decision is based on the current position and the "current" end-of-file duration when stopped as opposed to actual end of file duration

For what it's worth I doubt the wireless connection is the problem. I occasionally have the same problem and my client is connected to the server with a cat5 line. I did get some relief from this by using the Cyberlink Video Decoder (PDVD13) although the problem has returned occasionally since I upgraded to the latest version of NPVR. I have no idea why that would affect this problem.
