any chance you can return it for credit? it seems defective somehow

by the way, what software are you using to turn the remote machine with all the tuners into an IPTV server?
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct
main client: NextPVR 5.0.7 Desktop Client; LG 50UH5500 WebOS 3.0 TV

I can't claim that it is defective because every other usb device works flawless on it, just the Astrometa tuners that won't cooperate, and it has taken me 3 weeks to figure that out for sure.In the end I took the tuners one by one to two other computers and tested them for hours and they are all ok. I'm using another npvr installation on the remote computer. I can't run my htpc as a client either because then all recording/processing will be done on the old computer with very limited harddrive capacity and slow cpu. If I move the harddrives they won't be a 4-drive lightning fast raid array anymore.....

how do you get nextpvr to act as an iptv server? what am I missing?

(oh, nevermind, I remember how that is done, you configure the IPTV client in the server with http url's to the remote npvr)

Npvr doesn't seem to be aware that the IPTV device can record more than one channel at a time when scheduling, it creates a lot of conflicts. Is this something you can fix with a patch Sub?

I forgot about this. It's probably gonna have to be a 3.6.x thing since I'd probably need to change the interface for this. Let me thing about it some more though, there might be away around it.

Think fast please please Smile

Edit: And while we'r at it, how do you define radio channels on the iptv device?
Edit2: I also notice that the when you exit live tv from the iptv device the stream is reported as still active both from System plugin and Ntray...

Sub, can you at least give me a patch so that I can schedule more than one recording simultanously on the iptv device?

I can't. It's a biggish fix. You'll have to wait.
