Unable to communicate with recording service

I'm trying to watch LiveTV and this keeps popping up. I tried to start and stop the recording service, but it says that it can't find it.

I have attached the logs folder.

Is this a new install? If not, did it just stop working?

It appears the recording service is not running. Need to figure out why that is happening first.

You might try taking a look @ this thread and see if it relates to your problem.

Hi. It just stopped working, so not a new install.
The issue is very similar in the thread, but the registry has the correct path, so it's not the solution to my issue. :/

What exactly is the error message you get when trying to start the recording service.

Can you try opening a command prompt and running NRecord RUN from there?

Hi. Here is a pic of the error when trying to start.
When I try NRecord RUN in cmd it just says: "nrecord is not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

Yeah, when you're in the command prompt, you have to change directory to the one where Nrecord.exe resides.

I suspect you moved the install location but you did it wrong. Does

sc qc "NPVR Recording Service"

show the same path as the registry?

Hi. I haven't moved the install location anywhere. I tried sc qc NPVR recording service, but it tells me that the service has not been installed.
Registry has this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\NRecord.exe
