Next and Comskip working great, but not now?

There should be a log file c:\comskip\processing.log, can you zip and post that as well?

You may need to "unlock" compskip by dropping a file onto comskip.exe and maybe unticking the "Ask for execution" box.
This should allow it to run after.

All that did was to open up a terminal window and start processing the file.

This may be something: All the "edl" files are 0 bytes.
Ones that I did a manual processing have about 115 bytes.

did you set the live_tv_retries to 10 as I said? I had the exact same problem as you are having until I did that.

I think as Johnsonx42 indicated, you may have some ini file tweaking to do. Each of your files indicated comskip only ran for about 3 seconds...

Not exactly sure what live_tv_retries does, but that may be a good place to start.

So that a good thing, did it process the whole file without error ?

Also you should find a .log file for each recordings in the recording folder, did you look at them?

Yes, it works fine if done by hand or in manual mode.

I have posted that a few back. Others that know what they are doing are looking at that file.

Johnsonx42, I did set it to 10 and have the CBS news set to record to see if that fixes the problem. Will know in less than an hour,
