It is actualy 6.1 (ATSC is Source). When I change the URL to 6.1 in the browser it starts downloading a file called "live" in chrome.

Then I changed the Channel Details setting so it is just 6 (mapping to 6.1) but Plex Channel still behaves the same.
So you may be onto something.
