Did you...

1. Download and unzip the patch from this post...
2. Shutdown all of the NextPVR components (using the "Stop NPVR Service" menu item under the Start Menu)...
3. Copy the unzipped patch file into your program files NPVR folder (replacing the existing NextPVR.exe)...
4. Restart the NPVR Service (using the "Start NPVR Service" menu item under the Start Menu)...

If not please do so then recreate the problem and post a new set of logs.

Seems to be a little different hang, thought you might want to see the logs.

I'll PM you a link to a slightly different version to install. Let me know if it helps.

Sorry for the delay, just found your notification today. I downloaded and installed the test version. Stopped and re-started the service, but it hung again. I was able to switch a few more channels before the hang.

Attached are the log files, again sorry for the delay.

By mistake I clicked on live TV, then clicked the TV Guide, and selected the same channel as what was playing on Live TV. NextPVR hung and received the tuner busy message.

Applied the fix after stopping the service. Then re-started NextPVR and clicked live TV. Then Clicked TV Guide, selected the current viewed channel, clicked Watch, and it hangs. It occurs every time.

Maybe live TV is not in the cards for me! Here are the log files.

I just saw the same error message, started googling and found this thread...

My problem was solved: the antenna cable fell out of my tuner. Strangely, in NextPVR it gives the error "the tuner you were using was required for a recording". I do not have another PVR software installed, so I don't know what error message it would give there.

Just want to throw it in here... maybe you have the same problem...

EDIT: forgot to add, I have a Compro E900F installed, with a DVB-T antenna connected using a splitter to both its inputs.

Might be true, but Windows Media Center, Win TV 8, and Jrivers works fine. No delay in channel changes and no tuner messages. Also checked TV channel levels on incoming signals and they are in the 90 to 100% range. I think I am done with NextPvr, will just stay with Windows Media Center and Windows 8.1. Jrivers isn't bad, but takes over your machine. Win TV 8 is pretty good, only issue is the guide is not embedded. Windows Media Center does everything I need to do, and has for the last 5 years. To bad Microsoft does not make the source public Domain.
