Hi

I am trying to run the xmltvextras to get the TV show icons, but when it is run, it dosent seem to map the programmes

Found 1867 programmes containing extra data.
Mapping xmltv channels to NPVR channels...
Mapped 71 xmltv channels to NPVR channels.
Mapping xmltv programmes to NPVR programmes...
Mapped 0 xmltv programmes to NPVR programmes.
Adding programme extras from xmltv to TVListings database...
Updated 0 entries.

Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Living in the the wrong country ... I suspect that UK sources don't include the info the xmltvextras requires.

Thanks for the reply.

I do know that the source (atlas metabroadcast) does include the info as it works with other per software I have been testing.

I have checked the xml file just to be sure and it has entries like this..

so definitely includes the <icon> tags

Perhaps I will try reinstalling things and see if it helps

Hi,

can you attach your npvr.db3 database file, along with the xmltv source file you're using, then I can have a look why it can't match any programmes.

I am still at the testing phase at the moment, so haven't organised my channels etc yet, but I don't think that would affect things.

please ensure that the utility is executed right after npvr's epg update has completed. And please verify if it picks up the correct xmltv file (should be printed out to the command line when executed).

Thank you for checking the example files,

I have checked that when clicking update egg, and it does show running postupdateepg.bat

I have tried uninstalling everything, trying out 3.5.7 with Tv listings and xmltvextras, and just 3 channels, but still the same result.

If I run xmltvextras from a command prompt, I still get similar results...

It still does not map any xml programmes to NPVR programmes

Sorry 'bout that - apparently the application still contained a hard-coded path to your database in my downloaded files folder.
