Since the 10586 upgrade I have had a constant problem with NPVR telling me that that No data was delivers the device failed to lock onto a signal. It was rock solid with July Windows 10 build.
I have to keep plugging and unplugging my usb tuner every day to make it keep working
What is the verdict on Windows 10 with NPVR. My Windows 8 NPVR machine is working fine. I'm getting endless pop-ups saying its time for me to upgrade to 10. I upgraded my non-NVPR machine pretty painlessly, but now it has a sleep issue if I enable homegroup. I see a handful of discussion in threads like this. Are these just the normal glitches everyone has doing major install or is Windows10 not really ready yet from NPVR? Its hard to tell from the forum if lots of people have yet made the plunge with NVPR.

NextPVR is working pretty well with Win10. There is a couple of people like Lao Pan that have special requirements (like DTS over optical), which are causing problems, but in general people I think most people are happy with it.
Anyone know if it's possible to control the Netflix "app" via IRSS to send it keyboard commands? Although I think only basic stuff like spacebar for play/pause is possible, but it would still be better than nothing.
My setup of Win 10 and NextPVR works reasonably well although my requirements are small.
I only use NextPVR to record. I don't watch video or Live TV using NextPVR. When I do go into Live TV (for test purposes only) I have a problem with changing channel as it takes awhile to switch and settle down. I bought a new USB tuner recently to go with my PCI tuner and had trouble getting the correct drivers to install but once it was set up I haven't had any problems.
When I installed 366 I had no problems at all apart from having to restart NPVR Service. On my Win 7 machine (dual boot with Win 10) I had problems after installing 366. I had to rescan all my tuners before I could get my EPG to update. On Win 7 I don't have the issues with Live TV because I can select different video decoders.
I'm sticking with Win 10 and NextPVR for now. I would only switch to Win 7 if I have problems using Win 10 with my other software.
Thanks for the replies about Windows 10. I upgraded my video driver, HVR-2250 driver, NPVR, ans SAF to the latest versions. Then I upgraded my Windows 8 to Windows 10. It was pretty painless. Everything works just as well as it did with Windows 8.
